DISCRIMINATION IN HUMANITY

Dear all,
We should not be prejudice in humanity; whatever the situation we should come forward and help the people who are suffering any critical time. Either they are in some natural disasters or being trapped in oppression or victim of cruelty, we should help them keeping aside our liking and disliking. Help and humanity should not discriminate religion, race, language, geographic division or complexion. We are all same and humans. Our traditions, way of living or accent may be different but one thing is same and that is we are humans. We should feel the pain of others.
Minorities are main victims for inhuman practices; one vibrant example is Muslims of Mianmar (Burma). They have been slaughtered, being pulled out of the country and forced to become refugees in other countries. Good news in regard is that the issue grabbed the attention of international media after so many brutal incidents. Now it’s been expected that they be will be provided the place they deserve.  Their only crime is that they are minorities in their country.
If we are going to find the origins of people, it could be difficult to survive as in previous times different people migrated at different places. They have various reasons to leave their places and at that time there was no hurdle of visas. Where ever a skilled one is appreciated they migrated with all their families and started to live in new atmosphere. Despite of centuries of migration, natives never accepted them and behave them as an outsider. Time by time, natives tried to pull them out of their countries that is not fair.
I am not favoring a community or religion; it is the serious matter for minorities. This problem in not limited to minorities but immigrants are also suffering in many societies even in modern times. Immigrants are also being treated as aliens in society. No doubt they are different in culture but they must also be given time to mold themselves according to the changing environment. Some people may be rigid to accept changes. They need to be educated and trained in new atmosphere. Illegal immigrants are not my subject they should not be accepted as it has become a threat for nations.
There are only few countries that are excellent to accept new talent and new cultures. They have so adaptable that everyone is trying to become a part of that culture. People love to serve in these countries at any cost. There are also problems and issues but they are ready to resolve them with good command and tolerance. Nations must be open hearted to accept others in their societies.
We should change our minds in this regard. Minorities must be allowed to live according to their trends. We should also respect their believing. They must not be forced to convert or migrate again. Let them feel as it is their homeland and they are not different. Our new world order should be humanity and not cruelty.
Best regards.

KIDNEY TRADING

Dear all,
Donating something for someone’s betterment is a noble cause and much significant action. Only kind hearted people can do the same to prove oneself a true human being. Donations are not restricted in shape of cash or moveable properties but people sacrifice their body organs for others treatments. There are many examples when a person declares a will to donate its body parts like eyes, kidneys, heart, liver etc to various needy patients. Due to latest research and technology it becomes very easy for surgeons to transplant the said organs to donees.
When we talk about kidney donation, we observe that most of times, it is preferred that donor should be a close relative. A close one may avoid many complications in kidney transplant. On the other hand, if donor is an outsider then it takes a lot of checks before the procedure. Blood and tissue match is a common term and there are many more for precautions. But the both ways are popular for this procedure.
Kidney donation, like others donations is also a noble cause to save someone’s life. According to WHO, 91 countries are carrying out kidney transplant; people are commendable who donate it to others. No need to mention that we humans have mostly two kidneys and one healthy person can survive with one kidney.9th March is globaly decrared as World Kidney Day in order to keep the people aware of its importance, care and donation.
But everything has pro and cons; we observe many greedy and insincere people who prefer to collect the money under the shadow of this donation. Actualy they are traders and trading of human organs is illegal. They attract poor and needy people for little incentives and provoke them to sell their kidney at a low price. They pretend that they are doing it all for a noble cause but making a huge profit by selling it a high cost. There are many needy ones who are ready to offer any amount to save one’s life.
In south Asia, one can easily find a donor for kidney in affordable price. There are many people who are living a miserable life and ready to sell themselves in the price of some necessities. Due to instable economic situations and unjustified division of resources, such lower middle class is increasing day by day. There is nobody to look after them for their needs and they are often engaged in illegal activities. We have very clear examples of many villages where people opt this and sell their kidneys, now there is no one left with two kidney except new born.  This activity is although illegal but still running very successfully. Well offs have no hurdle to fulfill their requirements through this systems. There are many authentic and unauthentic doctors available who perform this procedure in private places.
There is another scenario, where we observe the increasing rate of kidnapping. Criminal are kidnapping the people and selling their body parts to various areas of world. In past few months, newspapers were full of such incidents where bodies were found without organs in many countries of South Asia. Their main cause is to sell the kidneys as it is a profitable business for them. They have no concern that the person they are selling in parts is a loved one to someone. These insensible people are not only illiterate persons from crime world but there are many respectable names of doctors also associated in this dirty and inhuman job.
According to Human Organs Transplantation Act of 1994, the trade of human organs is ban. Officials have constituted and implemented many rules and regulations to stop this nasty work and held many violators behind bars. This is not enough, people handling this syndicate should be accused not the puppets.

EUNUCH – STRUGGLE FOR RECOGNITION

Hello all,
Recently, I have watched T.V drama on “ARY digital” with the title “Khuda mera bhi hai” meaning “God is mine too”. The subject was acceptance of eunuch as a child and a citizen. Most of the civilized countries have no issues in this regard, people with this gender are living a satisfied life there but in Asia, this gender is not treated as they deserve. We have a discriminatory attitude towards them. There was an era when they have respectful status in the palaces of Mughal emperors.
In our society, a lot of people want to hear this sentence at the time of delivery “congratulations, it is a baby boy”, there are few who are satisfied with a baby girl but situation worsens when it is the third gender. Most of the parents refuse to accept such a child right after the birth. They think that it is shameful to accept them and society will make fun of this incident.  People assume such parents as unhealthy in a way that they are unable to give birth to a boy or a girl.
This is a tradition since centuries in South Asia; many illiterate people blame mothers for the birth of a girl or a eunuch. They also praise the mother for a baby boy. People have no concern with science and research; they have their sayings, stereotypes, and customs to follow. It is not only with those who are living in remote areas but many so-called civilized and highly educated minds do not want to accept this reality. These children are mostly given to a “Guru” (an old transgender taking care of such gender). The problem starts from this stage; they are being spoiled and thrown away as a waste for their whole life.
Gurus have a tradition to train such children for dance and singing. This training has no concern with perfection it is just for the sake of fun. When these children grow up, they dance and sing in streets and on several occasions. Once, it was a tradition to call them at weddings and birthdays. Many people think that their prayers and blessings are pure and will be accepted soon, so they called them at time of birth of a baby boy.  This tradition is rare these days and eunuchs have mostly become beggars. You can observe many of them with makeup and with ladies’ outfits at almost every traffic signal. They have a different style of begging, normally they keep blessing you until you gave them some money but it should be a big currency, they are not contented with coins. Many times, I witnessed that they throw the charity back if they are not happy with the amount. There are many who still dance and earn their living but a lot of them are involved in crimes and unethical activities. It is obvious, such ignored and discarded people can easily be trapped and used by criminals. Hence, they are now involved in so many other illegal activities.
Problem is the recognition of such children in our society, parents who dare to accept such children are often humiliated by others. They would make fun of them for being supportive of the eunuchs. These children are being treated as aliens, humiliated in our society. No parents like them to play with their children or be their friends. Though’ there is an appropriate word to call them i.e. “ Khwaja Sara” which was basically a title for them back in the Mughal dynasty. But, they are being called with different abusive names like “Khusra”, “Na-Mard”, “Heejra”, “Chakka” and many more. Their school and college fellows make fun of them without any reason and they are not supposed to react against such behavior and are demanded to bear the bullying silently.
Although we observe some change in our society that people are educating their minds in this regard but still there is a lot to do. It is such a pity this gender was never considered officially until recently when they were finally acknowledged as lawful citizens and can now apply for National Identity card.Eunuchs are now aware of their rights and protested several times for their demands.
The T.V Show that I mentioned above took a brave and bold step towards a selfless society and awareness. They motivated people to come forward and accept all the realities attached to this creation of God. They are not being thrown away from anywhere; they are as real as we are. Acceptance will make them beneficial for them and for society as well. They have a mind and feel like others; they can be a creative one, worker, sales rep., businessman, teacher, researcher, even manager and much more. All we need is a change in our perspectives. Once again, well-done team ARY Digital.

Best regards.

INTOLERANCE

Hello all,
We are impatient for centuries or having it in our instinct but now intolerance has also complicated our behaviors.  We as a human should take some positive criticism to promote our personality but the situation is quite different. We even do not want to see such person around us who is against our views. Such behavior of “I am perfect” is like living in fool’s paradise. Nobody is perfect; we all have some flaws in our personalities. Each one of us is different from other, our perspective is unlike an approach to some subject may vary every time. We should listen to others with patience, whether the opponent is true or not. Generally, It gives us the experience to understand others personalities and views they have about us.

Intolerance is becoming a general behavior globally; internationally it can be illustrated very easily. Recently polling results are being criticized in developed and powerful countries. Presidents/Prime Ministers of democratic countries are not ready to listen to anything against their decisions. Judiciary’s judgments and rulings have become a joke for everyone. If the judgment is according to one’s mind; it will be appreciated otherwise will be declared as a grudge. In Pakistan, a higher level of decision is awaited by government and opposition as well. Whoever will be disappointed will start to criticize it. Newly a powerful republic also demonstrated the same attitude. Moreover, poor Hillary is still being ragged in many statements even after her defeat.

Moreover, such approach can be seen in our in neighbor and so-called democratic countries also. Many people have been killed just for having different views. Rumors are around that actors were victims and being killed for being aggressive or expressive. Some old age people have been hanged in another country for being opponent of the government. Innocent minorities of many countries either they are Muslim or Non-Muslim, often pay a lot. Racism is at its peak, majorities have always tried to hurt minorities’ feelings and tried to silence them by force due to the fact that they have a different perspective or traditions. There are many examples that cannot be quoted here because they need a lot of time and are controversial, but we are aware of them.

In routine life, I personally, witnessed intolerance in society. As a driver we are always is in hurry, not giving way to anyone, crossing the limits of speed, breaking the signals and overtaking is a routine. People used to fight each other without any solid reason. Mostly on busy roads, there are many examples such as public crossings the roads without crossing signs. If they have been hit by some vehicle, they are ready to fight without accepting their fault. Generally, a motorcyclist is abusing to car rider and the car driver is saying harsh words for cyclist or rickshaw. Most of them are wrong but nobody wants to accept it. Our news channels showed many time such clips of intolerance when traffic sergeant is being rude toward old age people or women. Although they are supposed to warn the public and implementation of the law they took the law into their hands and punish many people on their own. The public is not away from it they have also done many offensive actions.

Political parties are the worse example of being intolerant. If they are in opposition, they are equipped to oppose each and every decision of ruling party. Their party workers are a step ahead and they are ready to come out on roads for the protest without knowing the facts. On the other hand, ruling parties are not ready to accept any reasonable suggestion from the opposition. Neighbors are annoyed with each other, parents are blaming teachers while the teacher has some other problems to say. Fresh graduates are angry with the system and everyone is upset.

According to me, I am really unable to give an advice to some country or politicians because they already have plans and strategies in their mind.  They are very calculative to manipulate others as well as their public. My concern is the common person. Being intolerant is just because the life has changed into a speedy one. We do not have time to sit and judge the situation. We are unable to evaluate the pro and cons of any circumstances. People having some powers do not care about any happening because they think they will manage any situation. It is also a negative treatment. On the other hand, whenever we look or listen to something, we try to act immediately without understanding the condition. If we give it a while, it will be sorted out effectively.  If we try to think about rights or wrongs then all will be in right direction.

We also hesitate to accept our faults and often not ready to say sorry. There is no need to pause to say sorry for your mistakes. This acceptance will prove you a right person instead to evaluate you. We must look at the positive side of everything; it will introduce us to the brighter side of people nature we live with. We are social animals and we should tolerate each other. We are now more informative as compare to our previous generation. So we should behave as a sensible citizen and no one can manipulate us. When we acquire such behavior, it will bring an environment to form “A government of the people, by the people and for the people”.

Hoping for a positive change and all the very best for all.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY; ITS VALUE AND IMPORTANCE ACCORDING TO ME…

Hello all,

8th March, the “Women’s Day”, a day to remember the continuous struggle of this gender for their rights. The world is celebrating the day to salute and admit the worth they have. This day is being celebrated since 1914 on 8th March. We must not only celebrate the day as a formality but we need to admit the importance of them in every field of life. They are kind as a mother, guide as a teacher, friend as a sister, partner as a housewife and dedicated as a co-worker and so on. They ruled, played, served, conquered, entertain and succeeded in all the ways of life but never been appreciated as they deserved. It took them a long time for winning recognition. Give this attitude an end and state a new way of equality and appreciation.
Being a father of two loving girls and a naughty boy, I feel proud and blessed. I always tried to provide the equal share of life to my daughters but when we talk about the system, this equality is rare. Girls do not have the equal opportunities. First, I want to discuss the education system where the number of schools and colleges are less than the requirement. On the other hand, education is getting expensive. Then what about the most number of girls having not much means of income. These are the girls who will contribute as a future mother and up bring the next generation. The government, of course, is doing many projects for girl’s education but still, it is out of the reach of a poor girl to fulfill her dreams. Then how can this problem be resolved? Education is major and basic need of time and we should come forward with new ideas to solve this social problem. It is mostly recommended and a good idea is to contribute individually to you and help the needy. As well as, doing charity and supporting the already existing programs for women empowerment and awareness.
Secondly, according to me, transportation is also a major problem for women. We can observe a limited space in public transports and people have also not accepted women as a driver of a car or a scooty. The scooty riders are always targeted and bullied by the students and youngsters. Nowadays, in such rush scooty is a blessing for women to reach their school, college or workplace. We still assume women as lesser and careless as the driver. Many jokes are around in social media for fun at women drivers. Well, it is a humiliating behavior to portray their small mistakes as a crime. I think, sometimes, they have been shaky due to overall behaviors. If we trust them and buck them up, they will show a good result. I personally witnessed many women drivers who are even more expert than men.

When we talking about women, how can we forget those who have been exploited by our society? In the name of honor, they have been slaughtered and made Vanni. In the name of so-called love, they are being revenged by throwing acid on their faces, leaving them into utter agony, anguish and despair for life. Only one in a million of these victims receives rehabilitation to survive and manage the way somehow. Many are still struggling all alone in absence of dowry and there is no end to the sufferings of the women, especially in the third world.
I conclude as we should not only celebrate this as a day but make it a milestone of revolution. I suggest that we need to incorporate respect and appreciation for every woman in our children. So that in the future we can have a safer and progressive world for our mothers, daughters, wives, and sisters, who are equally valuable to keep the equilibrium of this world.
Hoping for a change.
 Best regards.
